<br />
Happy Monday!<br />
It has been 3 years since I last posted on this blog! and let me just tell you<br />
I am not the person I was 3 year ago :)<br />
I am brand new and I wanna tell YOU why.<br />
Easy...because of Jesus Christ!<br />
See...I grew up going to church every single Sunday..from the time we lived in Mexico<br />
to the time we moved to the US. Every single Sunday...and sadly it meant nothing to me.<br />
I went because my parents "made me". I grew up telling people I was "Christian" every time I was asked what my "religion" was, and again, that meant nothing! We were part of a church that was focused on growing financially but not a church that wanted to grow spiritually. I have no memory of a message that spoke to me...a message about anything actually. Once I was a teenager I couldn't wait to be old enough to not have to go to church. I was fed up with the hypocrisy, church was about showing off your Sunday outfit, your new car, talk about your new house...there was no spiritual growth! There was clicks, rumors, gossip...it was out of control. I can't remember if I was 17...around that age...I stopped going to that church...I never went back. I thought..well I'm not harming anyone, I think I live a little better than the people preaching at church...in my ignorance. I went thru a lot of problems, I made countless mistakes. I got in a lot of trouble, but something always stopped my troubles from being worse. My parents never stopped going to a church...and they never stopped praying for me. My mother's prayers followed me everywhere I went, like that time I had a car accident, sure I got hurt but I survived, and that time my friend and I got a ride from a group of men (strangers) they took us to where we asked them and they did nothing to us, and that time that I ditched school...I made it home safe...(theres more to those stories) and theres sooo many situations that I got myself into and God watched it all unfold and he allowed me to "live my life" and "experience" this things and he allowed me to learn this lessons but because my parents prayed for me, God went with me and every bad situation I put myself into didn't have the worst outcome. The years went on...I got married, had two kids...and again went thru a lot of troubles... but I always thought "someone has it worse" so I wasn't doing THAT BAD? right? prayers followed me and God heard every single one of them. Every time my parents would talk to me about going back to church, about praying, they would tell me to talk to my kids about God, take them to church, do it for them...I was annoyed, irritated, I thought 'people at church live worse than me, they're all hypocrites,why bother?"I was still going thru problems in my personal life, financial struggles, hurt, anger,self steam issues. I, who thought, well I am not hurting anyone...was hurting the people I love the most without realizing it...my children. Social gatherings where I would drink, to cope, to "relax",to "forget", was bringing the worse out in me. Was bringing out anger and I put it out on display for my kids to see. I woke up feeling so much regret and embarrassment...so much guilt and I know that was God in my conscience. Still, I didn't think about talking to God. I ended up moving back to Arizona, close to my family, still wasn't interested in going to church or anything that had to do with it. My parents continued to pray...and guess what? I kept going thru problems, struggles, anger, not feeling good enough,loneliness, you name it. I kept trying to succeed, and though I was doing good with work, my bills were paid on time, health and blah blah, I felt so alone, and I felt empty. I couldn't sleep at night and I had all this anxiety. My nephew got my daughter interested in church and she started going, and part of me was happy because I knew my kids were heading on the right path. I went to church about once a month and every time I felt like the message was for me, for my situation and every time I went I couldn't help but cry. I can't tell you which day it was, or what message I heard or what happened, but one day it all made sense! It all made sense that God had always been there, thru all my troubles...they could've been worse, but he allowed me to "live my life" and respected me enough that he kept his distance but never stopped showing me his love. He allowed me to have all this feelings and he still blessed me but waited respectfully for me to call his name and invite him into my life! and let me tell you the day I prayed and I talked to him and invited him into my life, in my heart, he healed me. That emptiness I felt is gone. All that anger is gone, all that sadness is gone! I feel joy. My life isn't perfect, and I am not perfect, I sin constantly and constantly I ask for forgiveness. Inviting God into your life doesn't mean the troubles will stop and it doesn't mean life will be perfect...it means God will give you peace in your heart, he will give you the strength to fight all your struggles, he will be a constant reminder that you are meaningful, that you have a purpose, that when the world tells you you are not good enough God tells you, you are everything! Jesus died for us, he suffered so you and I don't have to. We don't have to suffer. I am reading my bible trying to understand what God is asking of me and I would love to share with you. Even thought I went to church for many years, I am just now learning, and getting to know God, because I KNEW ABOUT HIM but I didn't KNOW HIM, and I want to know him <3 and I'd like you to know him too. This is just a little bit of my story. Im on a new journey, and I am asking God for guidance. I hope I can share a bit more soon. Don't give up. God loves us and accepts us as we are, sinners. He forgives. He cares. I invite you to download "The Holy Bible" on your phone and look up EZEKIEL 37:1-14. A beautiful promise.<br />
Thanks for reading if you made it all the way down here :)<br />
God loves you ;)<br />

Recently I was browsing through the YouTube home page and I came across some videos which title was underwater foundation something...and I thought this might be a Pinterest hack so I went on there and after browsing through many posts I finally found an article from Cosmopolitan which talked about this weird trend in Korea. Its is called Jamsu. This is when you apply your make up and submerge your face in a bowl of water to set it and achieve a "flawless" look. Well Im always up for trying new things and being that this is something I had never heard of and never crossed my mind I wanted to try it and see it it works or if its all hype.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Not only did I try it but I paid attention to how my makeup looks through out my day and checked for anything different from when I apply my make up and set it the regular way... <br />

I am extremely happy. In January 21st 2014 I started a new journey in my life going to cosmetology school! and as hard as it was at times because of babysitter situation, I made it! I graduated on July 18th 2015! and not only that but I was determined to get my license right away, and so I scheduled my practical exam 3 days later and today I passed my exam and I am now officially a licensed cosmetologist. I graduated 6 months before my actual graduation date. The last two and a half months were the toughest doing 48 hrs weekly and being away from my kids but God had a plan and he made this possible. I am forever thankful to him and my family for believing in me and helping out as much as they could. So now I am able to make videos and post more on my blog! yesKaren Mhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03986813984382230985noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-364087670866227437.post-42921410569145348062015-05-14T08:51:00.000-05:002015-05-14T08:51:48.092-05:00Smashbox Photo Finish Primer Water | Review<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">

I have been using the Smashbox Photo Finish Primer Water for almost a month now and I think Its time for a review/ my thoughts on this product. First of all, I wanna talk about how unique this primer/setting spray is to me. I personally haven't heard of a product that you spray on your face and acts as a primer until I saw this and I wanted to try it out because it sounded so interesting, and I could get various uses out of it. My skin is more on that normal side and only gets a bit oily in the summer. My pores are noticeable and I normally use a primer that will help minimize the size, even though they are not huge but big enough for me to notice. Of course I wasn't expecting this spray to help with my pores but I pretty much use it to prep my skin and I honestly stopped using other kinds of primers since I've been using this. I don't necessarily notice a difference on how my foundation applies but it makes it stay on. After I apply all my makeup including lipstick I spray it on my face a few times and just sets everything. It dries quickly and the smell is AWESOME! I use foundation that are long wearing and they work even better with this spray. I have put it o the test during those days that is crazy humid (I live in Tx) and even after sweating my makeup is on and not patchy or breaking apart. I could apply it during the day if I wanna freshen up my skin and I find myself not having to touch up with powder which is something I don't like doing unless necessary. Yes this products is on the pricy side if you're like me and normally only buy drugstore make up but in my opinion, if I invest in some good primers and setting sprays my makeup doesn't have to be all highend and it will last on my skin all day. If you are looking for something new to try definitely try the Smashbox Photo Finish Primer Water!, it is a very cool product which performs amazing. And if you feel like $32 is a lot, wait for a 20% off coupon from ULTA like I did and you won't feel as guilty ;)<br />

As I type, i'm uploading a video on youtube! and I talk a bit about my hair color fail! Well let me begin saying that I have been doing my own hair for a few years (way before I started beauty school) and for the past 3 years I have been bleaching my own hair, I don't bleach it often and thats why I still have hair but that might also be because I don't bleach my roots. Well on the picture you can see purple hair but this is not what I initially wanted, actually, it wasn't what I wanted at all but my hair took a wrong turn and it was either purple or going dark, and I'm not ready to have dark hair. So now I have this weird brown/orangy hair with purple ends. Basically what happened is that I bleached my hair and I was just trying to take my blond a bit higher since it has grown and I have done this a few times already with no problem, nothing that a toner can't fix, well today not even a toner could help and my hair wouldn't get passed the orange stage. Well I don't have all the products I'd like at home for this type of problem so once the toners I had didn't change my hair much, I decided to just put on this purple and let my hair rest for a couple of weeks before I try anything else. I need to do some deep conditioning before trying to do anything else, in 2 weeks (if I can wait that long) Im going to try to do a bleach bath and see how much of that orange thats hiding there I can get rid off and maybe either put on the purple again or just go and tone it with a nice blond. Its a lot of work and I took on more than I could handle based on the last time I did this, which was about 6 months ago. Well I learned my lesson and I gotta take it easy and just be more prepared for next time, So I just wanted to talk a bit more about my hair color fail and hopefully I can update soon with some better hair news lol.<br />
have a good night.<br />

<span style="font-family: Courier New, Courier, monospace;"><span style="color: magenta;">It's the 1st day of SPRING!</span> I love spring but sadly where I live, spring quickly starts feeling like summer and it turns into a hot,humid mess, but I do make the best out of the few weeks when the weather is actually nice. Today I thought it was the perfect time to share a few if my essentials.) S</span><span style="font-family: 'Courier New', Courier, monospace;"> <b><span style="font-size: large;">1.)Sandals:</span></b></span><span style="font-family: Courier New, Courier, monospace;"> I love wearing sandals even though my feet get really "tan" (dark) but I just love how comfortable they are and I can just put em on with anything. Neon nail polishes</b></span><span style="font-family: Courier New, Courier, monospace;"> and in particular the neon yellow nail polishes. This color stays on my toes till fall comes around (haha) my husband tells me I need to switch it up but I am obsessed and I just love how nice and clean it makes my feet look. </span><b style="font-family: 'Courier New', Courier, monospace;"><span style="font-size: large;">3.) I love denim shirts.</span></b><span style="font-family: Courier New, Courier, monospace;"> I tan really easy so I always try to have something to cover up my arms, the denim shirts are perfect to pair up with anything and it covers my arms from the sun and they're light enough to not make me sweat to much. I specially love the light wash ones. For make up </span><b style="font-family: 'Courier New', Courier, monospace;"><span style="font-size: large;">4.) I really like the It cosmetics your skin but better cc cream</span></b><span style="font-family: Courier New, Courier, monospace;">, not only does it cover like a foundation but it has sf 50, its anti aging and I love how it smells. Its easy to apply and very lightweight. </span><b style="font-family: 'Courier New', Courier, monospace;"><span style="font-size: large;">5.)</span></b><span style="font-family: Courier New, Courier, monospace;"> I need to set anything I put on my face because I like a matte finish, so for years I have been in love with the </span><span style="font-family: 'Courier New', Courier, monospace; font-size: large;"><b>Rimmel Stay Matte Powder</b>.</span><span style="font-family: Courier New, Courier, monospace;"> It is so light but mattifies my skin without making it look cakey, and I can apply it through out the day with out looking powdery and cakey. 6.)Flat Out Fabulous from MAC is one of my all time favorite lipsticks. Its a beautiful color and its matte,which is my favorite finish, specially because when its hot I hate the feeling of sticky lipsticks. This lipstick is very long wearing,and I can keep my eyes very simple with this color. There you have it, These are just some of my essentials, I might just have a 2nd part in a few weeks. This concludes my Friday night blogging, have an awesome weekend.</span></div>

My Color 228 Soft Tan<br />
<br />
Who else got excited when you saw this foundation at your local store? I know I did!!!<br />
The only reason why I got so excited is because it is a new formula MATTE+PORELESS!<br />
So a few years back I tried the original formula, i might even have a post talking about it, and honestly it was one of the worse foundations I have ever tried from the drugstore, (and I have tried many). I decided to try this one because I thought "why would they lie by saying its MATTE" so I got it along with the powder and I have been using it for about 3 weeks now, and let me tell you I have NOT used anything else since! This foundation comes in <b>16 different</b> colors which I think is a nice color selection. It has no scent! As I was looking for my color I saw a few <b>WARM TONES</b> and got very excited because thats always my struggle. Usually foundations look ashy or orange on me, but not having that problem with this one :) <b>I chose 228 Soft Tan</b> and it matches my skin perfect. The <i><b>CONSISTENCY</b></i> is <b>RUNNY</b> but don't let that fool you,<b> it covers very well</b> and looks good even if you need to layer it. It gives you enough time to blend it before it starts to set and one set it looks really smooth and matte. I have used this with a primer and without one and it still looks great, but I have set it with the <b>UD ALL NIGHTER SETTING SPRAY</b> and it works wonders!My pores appear smaller but are not completely gone, which is not a huge deal for me because my pores are not HUGE to begin with, my skin looks good with this foundation, it doesn't look dry at all and is not cakey. Its very light weight and I can't feel it on my skin, I don't feel like it transfers much either and thats a plus. To me this foundation wears for a good amount of time before I notice any spots wearing off. Probably within 4 hrs I see a bit of it wearing off on my nose area which is were all my foundations wear off first, but with a little powder it looks great again. I don't ever re-apply foundation during the day, I touch up with powder in rare occasions if needed, which brings me to talk about the <b>FIT ME POWDER</b> a bit. It comes in<b> 8 different shades</b> including a <b><i>translucent</i></b> one which I should've went with since I ended up buying a color that is a shade or 2 lighter than my skin. Surprisingly though, its not a big deal because the powder is very light (as in it feels light) powder and the color doesn't seem to change how the foundation looks on me. I apply it with a big flluffy powder brush and I just press it lightly onto my skin to set everything. <b>This powder doesn't look cakey</b> even if I apply it to touch up throughout the day (if needed) but I don't find myself needing to touch up. When touching it with my fingers it feels very smooth and silky which I love, specially because when I go over it with my brush the powder is not flying all over the place. Its not messy. I made a video where I show how I apply it and its now in my <a href="http://www.youtube.com/kmanzo01" target="_blank">YOUTUBE CHANNEL!</a> or you can <b><a href="https://youtu.be/FbvRpoALZKc" target="_blank">click here to watch!</a></b><br />
I hope I didn't leave anything out, I just love this foundation, leave a comment below to tell me your thoughts ;)<br />
Have a blessed day.<br />

Lets talk about the Maybelline Baby Skin Instant Pore Eraser which I have now been using for about a week. I talked a little bit about it on a recent video on you tube after only using it for 3 days and I said I like the product and YES I still do like it. I took some pictures to try to show my pores up close without the product, with it and after foundation. When I saw the pictures I realized I couldn't see much of a difference on camera but in person I think its more noticeable and also its better once I have applied all my makeup. The packaging says it can be used alone or under makeup but I wouldn't use it by itself because I think it is not a product that can last all day on, by itself. It applies beautifully. It is very smooth and it feels nice and silky when I apply it on my skin. It has no smell and its clear, great for those who prefer no scent on any facial product. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
So here is the pictures. #1 bare face #2 with the Baby Skin Instant Pore Eraser and #3 after applying my foundation over it. I guess on pictures you can see a bit of a difference but thats about how much the size of them change..I guess I will have to later post pictures of how the Benefit Porefessional changes the size of my pores but I feel as if they are pretty similar on what they do for my skin but the Porefessional is just a bit better (alone)...but maybe not to go and pay $30 for it again (lol) I am very glad theres a drugstore product which can compare to a high end product with similar results. I will probably just continue using this so far I dont have any cons about it, It doesnt erase my pores but does what I need it to do and for the price I think its great. I would recommend it to others..dont know if its also a primer...I doubt it because it doesnt say anything like that but for girls with larger pores that they wish to hide a bit. if you have tried it let me know your opinion on it ;)<br />

<br />
Let me start off by saying I'm on my 3rd bottle of this foundation, you know what that means...I love it!</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I must admit I was never a fan of Cover Girl, there's probably two products I can name from that brand before this foundation that I can say I enjoy. For some reason when I ran out of foundation I decided to go for this one in particular because it said it does amazing things and it said NEW on the package. I'm glad I gave it a shot. The Cover Girl Outlast Fabulous foundation comes in 14 shades, this foundation claims to give an "all-day flawless coverage". It also says it has "the lasting power of a primer, coverage of a concealer, and blendability of a foundation in one" and its oil-free. First of all I love that it has a pump, it makes it super convenient and I don't waste product because its easy to control the amount I want.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjr3Gkrlq0rnpru0IabUsF_Zc5eEtGmmZ4TcgYsMUiUSHvUuDv-CZXqpZLly1w5qoasAaGXvEMFJKrPDQBpKmpFS780BEfWuWdaZttPmrBROhyphenhyphenqqVsLw5Ba2UTZW0hJWWgX1S-ZE_5onXPt/s1600/COVERGIRL+Outlast+Stay+Fabulous+Foundation+857+Golden+Tan+3.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjr3Gkrlq0rnpru0IabUsF_Zc5eEtGmmZ4TcgYsMUiUSHvUuDv-CZXqpZLly1w5qoasAaGXvEMFJKrPDQBpKmpFS780BEfWuWdaZttPmrBROhyphenhyphenqqVsLw5Ba2UTZW0hJWWgX1S-ZE_5onXPt/s320/COVERGIRL+Outlast+Stay+Fabulous+Foundation+857+Golden+Tan+3.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
It was kind of easy to find my perfect shade. I chose 857 Golden Tan. It had me at "Golden"</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
that's what I need in foundation, that nice golden undertone to match me and this one is great. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg3oJBSbc29Jpw0n8FGg2gK8f1gD4yeXVqLVfSXqAcB23DxGCsOAqKfaGOgQAHGXKxkZTuLOXDHHk-FmuWQxj7QtUV_mQFjbd68BcvQbvxOF32Amc8g22-maRHIGcpyXUkGEo6SB6JWeb8s/s1600/review-covergirl-outlast-stay-fabulous-3-in-1-foundation-in-golden-tan-1.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg3oJBSbc29Jpw0n8FGg2gK8f1gD4yeXVqLVfSXqAcB23DxGCsOAqKfaGOgQAHGXKxkZTuLOXDHHk-FmuWQxj7QtUV_mQFjbd68BcvQbvxOF32Amc8g22-maRHIGcpyXUkGEo6SB6JWeb8s/s320/review-covergirl-outlast-stay-fabulous-3-in-1-foundation-in-golden-tan-1.jpg" width="239" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
To me this foundation gives a medium coverage and its buildable to full coverage or it can be apply lightly for a more natural finish. I love the matte finish it gives because it doesn't look like a dry matte but instead is more natural looking. Because I don't have bad skin I cant say it covers like a concealer. I only use concealer under my eyes to brighten them up a bit since I have a baby and I don't sleep as I'd like. I also don't have to use much powder to set it, I only use a very small amount of my favorite powder and just focus on my t-zone and under eyes if I applied concealer on that day I think this foundation blends so well with either my hand or a brush. There's 2 brushes I like using, the 1st one is the ELF powder brush and the 2nd is Eco tools custom coverage buffing brush, both of them make this product blend amazing and makes it look really good on my skin. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Other things I'd like to mention is I don't have to use a primer with this foundation but there's times I choose to, at least I did sometimes during the summer because here in TX it gets humid and way to hot. The lasting power is amazing. I love long wearing foundations because I don't like touching up my make up when I go out. I've had this foundation on for more than 8 hrs at times and even though it wont look as if I just applied it (obviously) it stays looking pretty good.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I definitely recommend this foundation, I don't know how it would work on someone with dry skin but I'm sure that with the right moisturizer and/or primer this would be just fine for anyone.</div>

Hello So I am finally back with a new post :) and this one is actually very exciting..at least for me haha</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I already made a video about this product on my YouTube channel a couple of weeks ago but I also wanted to have one on my blog...so here it goes </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjF1CvXAeb7a2fR7W8trm7vn1sTg-mMQqiStiRij5e88xImRuVRI3OgpjmSay511NSCbZFLazN5GQovm3Vmz_0ehxdCnIonaeLn1VhQR6RgSK4wnSC5EVZlK1bNVxC5qxU3NktdUcpBCzyq/s1600/Revlon-Colorstay-Whipped-Creme-Foundation-4.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjF1CvXAeb7a2fR7W8trm7vn1sTg-mMQqiStiRij5e88xImRuVRI3OgpjmSay511NSCbZFLazN5GQovm3Vmz_0ehxdCnIonaeLn1VhQR6RgSK4wnSC5EVZlK1bNVxC5qxU3NktdUcpBCzyq/s320/Revlon-Colorstay-Whipped-Creme-Foundation-4.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
The Revlon Colorstay Whipped Creme Makeup is new and I had no idea it was out until the day I saw it at CVS and decided to buy it. It is more expensive there (I paid $13.49 for it)</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
The first thing I noticed is that they didn't have that many shades to chose from so I went for the darkest one they had on display which is 400 early Tan. I used the Colorstay liquid foundation in Early Tan so I figured it was probably similar, but not, this one is actually darker and more of a neutral shade which bothers me a bit but not enough for me to not use it.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I wish it was more yellow but it still works. The Packaging is a bit different than what I am used to have but it is very convenient due to the fact that the foundation is thick. It is glass and it had a little plastic top that annoys me so I threw it away </div>

<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<b><span style="font-size: large;">Like it??</span></b></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
YES!! not only do I like it, I LOVE IT! my skin type is normal to combination, some foundations can make my t zone ridiculously oily...not this.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<b><span style="font-size: large;">why?</span></b></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Well it is very different, it is thick but not nasty thick that makes it hard to work it. It is very blendable and gives me a nice coverage. I say its light to medium coverage depending on how much you apply, and it claims to be buildable to full coverage...I personally haven't tried that because I am pleased with one layer of this foundation. It also claims to last 24 hrs? now, I don't know about that, but it has lasted up to 10 hrs on my face. Once I apply it I don't have to touch up with powder throughout the day which I love because I don't carry a makeup bag with me. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<b><span style="font-size: large;">How I apply it:</span></b></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Well I always use a primer, then I dot it all over my face and blend it with the ELF studio powder brush (flat top) I use a bit of the Rimmel Stay Matte powder to set it and I am good to go.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<b><span style="font-size: large;">Final thoughts: </span></b></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I have noticed that I do not get shiny at all with this foundation, my makeup looks good even when I am outside in this nasty humid weather in Texas. Like I mentioned, I don't have to touch up and it is long lasting.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I am very happy with it and has quickly become my favorite foundation. Other things I'd like to mention is that this foundation doesn't seem to oxidize on me and also it doesn't really transfer which is also a plus. It doesn't look cakey and gives like a natural matte finish, my favorite and it didn't break me out, but then again nothing really does.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<b><span style="font-size: large;">Anything bad?</span></b></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
its not yellow enough...that is it in my opinion.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I personally enjoy this foundation and I hope you do too if you decide to purchase it.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I hope I didn't leave anything out and if you have any questions, leave a comment.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
If you'd like to see the video I did about this and see how I apply it, then check it out below.</div>

So today I will be doing a review on a products that I have been enjoying, and it is the Monistat chafing relief powder gel, but I'm reviewing it as a PRIMER ;) you will find this at your local drugstore of Wal mart, Taget etc..in the feminine care isle <br />
For a while I have been watching videos on YT and a few girls said really good things about this products used as a primer so for some time I wanted to get it but wasn't to interested until I finally felt that I really wanted to try it. Some people have a hard time finding this so they order it online, but I found it at my local Wal Mart for $5.95. I started using it the day after I bought it and here are my thoughts.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhI7dZqebvHz5TNQQNIuzaSamA05w1qOnLAmDbZ5aNqQefgzYTpvglrkFLxebq2EtbuUbuySsJk6hP5t5zXk7nIbwTyoIok_nXl5Eky0PTblA4YneFjnc8trb3Z7FzRGui7FNGh1zEvgDDd/s1600/tyu.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="152" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhI7dZqebvHz5TNQQNIuzaSamA05w1qOnLAmDbZ5aNqQefgzYTpvglrkFLxebq2EtbuUbuySsJk6hP5t5zXk7nIbwTyoIok_nXl5Eky0PTblA4YneFjnc8trb3Z7FzRGui7FNGh1zEvgDDd/s640/tyu.jpg" width="640" /></a></div><div style="text-align: center;"><span style="font-size: large;"><b>The Good:</b></span></div>This products has worked good for me. You need a very small amount and it distributes evenly all over my face. It feels very silky and smooth. It doesn't leave my face oily, it actually feels exactly the same as when I apply any other primer, like the Sephora primer, which was what I had been using. It is almost clear and has absolutely no smell to it which is great. My foundation blends great on top of this and it hold up well throughout the day. I do not get oily which is AWESOME. I have not broken out with this, but then.. nothing really makes me break out as of now (thank GOD)<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgskUKBIXEWpqrMMpPldX23WT002VmwmogBPDa2EBUZLn6JBN6JmsHohOEjePWnLbFt4EWgul8THstjzcZwy_fmuiRqu5kkk9FulkcAcG1PyLCBPNWsIVzMsIUfGszoSt980yAAONMNpqSF/s1600/101_1237.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="300" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgskUKBIXEWpqrMMpPldX23WT002VmwmogBPDa2EBUZLn6JBN6JmsHohOEjePWnLbFt4EWgul8THstjzcZwy_fmuiRqu5kkk9FulkcAcG1PyLCBPNWsIVzMsIUfGszoSt980yAAONMNpqSF/s400/101_1237.JPG" width="400" /></a></div><div style="text-align: center;">on the left Sephora Primer, right Monistat Gel</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiZeeg1ZLQlw65aoW8H-imcEJTa6e7y5RREBx1TAvtcJ9DaRkLnEc-5lUvz2_WeOaoB0QGOVxCPZFQRQY7Xhg8gxY3y25IYBNpQU89lq_OjmgeZdpxSD5APS6SXZvH7TtpLcEFqzlhMJbSz/s1600/101_1244.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="300" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiZeeg1ZLQlw65aoW8H-imcEJTa6e7y5RREBx1TAvtcJ9DaRkLnEc-5lUvz2_WeOaoB0QGOVxCPZFQRQY7Xhg8gxY3y25IYBNpQU89lq_OjmgeZdpxSD5APS6SXZvH7TtpLcEFqzlhMJbSz/s400/101_1244.JPG" width="400" /></a></div><div style="text-align: center;">I also really like the packaging and the way I'm able to control how much product I use. It is not runny. The gel comes in a tube with 1.5 OZ which will last a long time, since like I mentioned you really don't need to use much ;)</div><div style="text-align: center;"><i><span style="font-size: large;"><b>The bad??:</b></span></i> </div><div style="text-align: center;">I don't have anything bad to say about this product, honestly I am very happy with it. the thing that might be bad for others is the fact that this has absolutely no benefits to your skin, which is obvious. this product is not made for the face, and it is not a primer, but it doesn't mean you can't use it as one. This is good if you want a basic primer with basic functions, like a product that is going to work as a middle layer between skin and makeup, and a product that will make your foundation blend nice and even, and that will help it last longer. </div>I hope you find this to be helpful and don't forget to share your thoughts.<br />
Let me know if you have tried it.<br />

Today I put up a video after almost 2 weeks, and I decided to do the Project 10 Pan.<br />
I have been buying make up that I end up not using so I think its time to finish up some products before buying more. The last thing I bought was the Viva Glam Nicki lipstick and that is it! I am so tempted to go and buy stuff specially since I got the ULTA ad in the mail but I gotta pass on it and I also cant watch haul videos because then I will feel like shopping. lol I sound like an addict but honestly is not that bad, I really have to finish what I have before I have to get rid of it. I will update in 2 weeks and we will see how it goes.<br />
Have you tried this?<br />

So I love maybelline and I saw a new foundation they came out with which is the Dream Nude Airfoam foundation. I couple of weeks ago I saw the new mousse foundation from Revlon but honestly I hear people say you can see small shimmers in that foundation and I really dislike that so I gave the maybelline foundation a try. I paid $8.99 for it and the shade I chose is #265 Sun beige which at first I wasn't sure if I should get because since its a metal container you can't see the actual product. Well I am glad I chose that shade because it matched me perfectly and that comes as a surprise because it's hard to find a drugstore foundation that matches my skin that good, I have a lot of yellow undertones. I applied this foundation using the ELF powder brush, which is the flat top one, and it was the best choice. That brush allowed me to blend the foundation onto my skin really well. the foundation is super easy to work with and it's really cool because it's a mousse. It gives a nice natural finish, not to matte or dewy which I like because I m not a big fan of dewy foundations. The weather definitely allows me to use different foundations because during summer time I have to stick to the Revlon Color Stay for a good matte finish and because it is long lasting. The Dream Nude Airfoam foundation lasted a good 8 hrs on my skin, I didn't touch up with powder throughout the day, which I was surprised about that but it's a plus. <div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjh0WOoT8XKQQgG7coePNzM2_pOXvW7RB3-D8lw9LylJh8T8Nx4tg_tr000vwX6fEeTZCeWwVgTbUxrh5yJplQZmtZjgqXzCE9m1AHiViLOgS2Fxm_yV9ydOhbfPgQFTjTXRypuCTvBH88R/s1600/101_0891ed.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left:1em; margin-right:1em"><img border="0" height="400" width="300" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjh0WOoT8XKQQgG7coePNzM2_pOXvW7RB3-D8lw9LylJh8T8Nx4tg_tr000vwX6fEeTZCeWwVgTbUxrh5yJplQZmtZjgqXzCE9m1AHiViLOgS2Fxm_yV9ydOhbfPgQFTjTXRypuCTvBH88R/s400/101_0891ed.jpg" /></a></div>Before applying this foundation I made sure to exfoliate my face because flakiness would look horrible specially with this type of foundation. I also don't have acne scars (or acne)and I also don't have many blemishes to cover. this foundation is light and great for everyday use...(so far) it feels like it. My skin is not sensitive so I highly doubt this would make me break out, but I will update for any changes :)I feel as if it does a good job at evening out my skin tone and helping my skin look healthy. I hope my initial thoughts don't change, but for now I think this will be my every day foundation. Have you tried it?<br />
Don't forget to check my new video where I talk a bit about it and also show how I applied it.<br />
