Another Holiday Look : Green

Hello lovelies :) So I have been loving green eye shadows..and I decided to create another smokey eye look for this holiday..I would use these colors on New Years Eve just because I know its the day when everyone is with friends partying and having a good time and in my opinion dramatic makeup is more appropriate then. Holiday makeup and hair!

Today I decided to film a Holiday makeup look and I really liked it :) I think this will be my Christmas eve makeup!! It was very simple to create and I show all the products I used on the video. Unfortunately the hair tutorial was a fail, and I said my camera died but it was not my battery that died, my memory card was out of space and I didn't even notice it wasn't recording anymore. DIY: Fishtail braid bracelet

hello ladies. Please check out my new video..its a Bangles makeover! DIY fishtail braid bracelet. Its super easy to do. I hope you all like it and if you try it don't forget to show me your creation ;)

At the beginning I show a picture of the material you'll need to create this cute bracelet. It is very simple to start it and I forgot to film that part but basically what you do is cut a very long piece of string and pass it under both bangle and then there you'll have your left and right string, then you just start braiding how I show in the video. You can use leather rope to create this instead of metal bangles but I really like how this turned out. I hope you do too. TARTE Eyeshadow pallets

Hello! Well about two weeks ago I received a coupon from ULTA in the mail for their friends and family sale and I wasn't to sure about using it because I need to stop buying make up for a while..it's an expensive habit..(oops) So I went a day before the coupon expired and I was looking around and I thought about getting the Naked pallet that everyone but me owns haha but I walked to the TARTE section and I found a deal I couldn't pass on. Three eyeshadow pallets, a lip gloss and a small purse for $48.00 minus the %20 (about 12.50) yea..pretty good deal. Each pallet comes with 6 eye shadows and a powder. Like so..

This pallet is called "A Walk In The Park" it has beautiful colors..these are the types of colors I use on a daily basis, and it comes with a bronzer.

This pallet is called "Nine To Five" and it has really nice neutral, light colors perfect for everyday, work or school, and it comes with a blush.

This pallet is called "Girl's Night Out" and it's my favorite!! I love smokey eyes and this pallet has gorgeous colors that I can not wait to try :) and this one comes with a beautiful highlighter.
The lip gloss (which I forgot to take a picture of) is a nice color..its pretty nude but not to great...it is very thick and sticky and I do not like those types of lip glosses at ALL! These eye shadows are very pigmented and I find them easy to work with. I am glad that I found them and maybe my next purchase can be the UD Naked pallet :)

Smokey Eyes Series: Browns

I decided to start a Smokey eye series, and today I did my 1st look using browns :) Basically what I'm going to be doing is creating smokey eye looks using different colors...not just black. Smokey eyes are my favorite looks to create, specially with nude lips...ah I love it. I filmed a video super fast because I can't edit my videos without losing the HD quality so I wanted to keep it short and simple so I didnt have to edit... :/ but soon I will take care of all that and have better videos. Necklace Holder: DIY

Hello ladies, so I know I haven't blogged in just like forever! but my computer is still acting up and it irritates me :/ but I am whiling to go thru the struggle just to have some new posts :) so this week I purchased a few more necklaces and realized I have nowhere to put them and thats one of the reasons why they brake and I just never have enough necklaces...I saw this painting my husband had and decided to turn it into a necklace holder. I went to the dollar store and bought small hooks and just twisted them into the edge of the frame which is wood and it was so easy. Our bedroom is blue so it goes so well with everything here. My next project will be an earring holder and I saw a few ideas online :) I will also post pictures of that so you can see how it looks.
Now changing the subject a little here, I want to show you these 3 bracelets I made for my mom.

for a few months I've been making bracelets and I enjoy it so much. I didn't know how creative I could be. I will take pictures of other bracelets I've made, they are all unique.

This one is my favorite!!!!

this one is very simple but cute.

I know my mom is going to love them. I wish I could give them to her in person but I am far :(. Anyway I hope you all enjoy this post and I will be blogging like crazy today :) have an awesome day.

Im so inlove!

I love september!! this month is so special to me because September 24th is my daughters bday... so it just passed (last saturday) and we had a princess theme party for her and she loved it :) she is now 3 yrs old!!! time sure flies and I wish it could slow down. I am so inlove with my baby girl words cant explain. Just wanted to share this on my blog :)

Rare Exotic Lipstick!!

MAC has a new collection...Posh Paradise..and I had to get two lipsticks. I wish I was able to post more pictures but I am having bad luck. My new camera came in and the next day my computer messed up!!! :( so I am posting this thru my phone. and that's what I have on my bottom lash-line with an eye shadow from Milani called "Atlantic"

I don't follow trends, I don't sit there looking at magazines to see what I should be wearing for fall,

but thats just me and I like it that way...I don't know if later on I'll be doing that (haha) but for now I just dress how I want. I am excited because my new camera is coming in tues. and I will be able to post pictures if my outfits :D most likely it won't be what other girls be wearing...like dressing all fancy but I'll be showing me :)

Neutral eyes, Red lips

 

Red lipsticks are gorgeous, but like always I get intimidated by them, and I have two under all my lipsticks and everytime I see them I want to use them but end up not doing so. Well, I was a little bored and decided I would play with make up and try a look that would make me feel comfortable enough to use a nice red lipstick. So here it is. I used a color from Maybelline that is discontinued :( it is called RoseBerry and its a nice dark red.

On my eyes I used two eye shadows, eyeliner and mascara, I went very light on my cheeks and just used NYC sunny bronzer.I hope you enjoy my very short video.

Too Faced Natural Eye Pallet Dupe!!!

 

 This is the Too Faced Natural Eye pallet which has some really beautiful colors. I love neutral colors so I always wanted to get it...but then I found this

This is called Natural Eye Kit and its from the clothing store Rue 21.

Sorry the light isnt that great on my picture but they are pretty much the same colors, and for $6.99 ppsh forget the Too Faced pallet. these eye shadows are so pigmented and work really nice. 

they have cool names too :p

Even the packaging is similar which I love because it looks very fancy but its so cheap.

You can create so many looks with this eye shadows. You can create a very simple everyday look to a nice smokey eye. I've had this for a few months now and I forgot to mention it before but here it is. I hope you girls can get your hands on this because Its an awesome product and it will save you a lot of money ;)

Bracelet making weekend

This weekend I finally started doing something I've been wanting to do for a while but I've been procrastinating for to long.. I've been wanting to make some jewelry and my hubby gave me the perfect idea. So I got to it and made some cool things :)

 Fisrt, I made this one which my hubby quickly put on as soon as I was done with it.

 I also made this one with some roses and white beads at the end. I love it so much.

My daughter was so excited to see me make this bracelets and she started asking about one for her, so I made one for her too and she loved it.

Make up with a toddler

Today I was trying to do my make up and my little one kept jumping on my back, it was to cute. She said she wants to do her make up like me. I got her a little make up set and she spends a lot of time infront of a mirror putting lipstick on and painting her nails :)
She's so girly.

I decided to get some pictures of us together while she was being silly. We have so much fun together <3 She definitely rules my world :)

Hair spray Talk

I recently purchased this Aussie sun-touched shine hair spray because of the word SHINE...yes funny but its summer still and I thought, why not give it a try.

I got mine at Target I believe it was $2.79...so cheap.

My everyday hair consists of letting my hair air dry and once its dry curl the tips with a one inch curling iron, run my fingers through my hair and use this hair spray. I really like it because it leaves my hair very nice and not hard. It moves around as if I had no hair spray but still holds my soft curls in place, and adds a nice shine to my hair. Makes my hair shiny not greasy ;)

I replaced my Suave Professionals Touchable Finish Hair Spray with the Aussie one, and even though I really like the Suave hair spray I really wanted to try something new. I love Aussie hair products. They are really low in cost but work great.

I would definitely repurchase both.

Blue smokey eyes and pink lips

 

Unlike every day, today I decided to do a smokey eye, which I loveee! Usually I use browns to create a smokey eye but today I found this trio sitting in the back of my eye shadows and I decided to use it :)

This trio is from Sally Hansen and its called The Ocean Eye Palette. It has really pretty blues. I hope you like what I've created. On my lips I have Maybelline Pink Me Up and Bonne Bell lip gloss is Strawberry Parfait. On my cheeks I have NYC color wheel in Pink Cheek Glow.

Street Nouns!

 

My husband is working on a clothing line at the moment which we're really excited about, Its called STREET NOUNS. He's a graphic designer and he is really trying to launch his clothing line. Recently he designed some snapbacks ($10.00). The picture shows the 4 different colors he has at the moment but he is working on different designs and colors. I will be happy to share anything new that comes out. His website will be up soon so I will post about that when its up. I just wanted to share this news :)

Current Obsession...Pink lipsticks

I recently noticed that for the past month I've been really into pink lipsticks, I'm surprised because I used to stay away from them but obviously not anymore.

I love this lip glosses, they really make a difference when I apply any pink lipstick.

And I almost left out another favorite lipstick. Its a MAC lipstick in the color  Modesty...beautiful color. Is like a perfect nude pink..love it.
