A pop of color!

I don't really dare to wear bright colors on my eyes..I always stick to neutrals...but I thought I should give it a try..even with just a bit of a bright eyeshadow. So I just kept it simple on my lids and crease with a soft brown and dark brown and added a bright blue eyeshadow to my bottom lash line.

Here's the two eye shadows I used.
The first one is Atlantis by Milani..
which I'm not even sure if it's still available since I've had mine for years..
The other eyeshadow I used is one by
ULTA in the color Turquoise.
Both are beautiful eye shadows and together they look even better. The pictures don't do the colors justice!!

ULTA eyeshadows are some of my favorite. They are so pigmented and ULTA always has great deals on their products so there's time when you can get 4 eyeshadows for the price of two ($7) each. I will talk more about them in another post soon. Well that concludes my lil pop of color look, I hope you like it!! Have an awesome day! ;)

Neutral Eyeshadows

This look is my favorite everyday look because its so simple and easy to do. I'm a mom so I try to do looks that don't take so much time, and that's one of the reasons for which I love the NYX palette "Smokey Eyes" it has a nice variety of colors and I can use it all year round :)
Another favorite is this Fox in a Box cheek color from Hard Candy in Skinny Dipping. Its perfect for summer and gives a nice glow to my face.
On my lips I have my favorite nude lipstick Fairest Nude from Loreal.
I hope you like it ;)

E.L.F $1 Lipsticks

I recently saw these E.L.F lipsticks at my local Target and I didn't know their dollar line had new lipsticks or maybe they are not so new but to me they are. I purchased 3 of them in the colors Seductive, Gypsy and Classy.
The colors are very pretty and creamy. When I put them on it felt as if I was putting lip balm on. They don't last on to long which is not a big deal for me, I mean I can't expect them to last hours..they are only a dollar.
Overall I think these are really nice lipsticks, nice and creamy, nice pigmentation and cheap.
Let me know which ones you like ;)

Current Favorite foundation/tinted moisturizer.

For a few weeks now I've been obsessed with finding the right foundation for me.. I tried a few drugstore ones and wasnt pleased. So I got two Mary Kay foundations called Time Wise Luminous wear and the Matte wear. Both in the color BEIGE 5. They match my skintone perfectly. The matte one which is for combination to oily skin is honestly MATTE I dont even have to set it with a powder and it lasts all day on my face, really have to moisturize before applying it because it could dry your face...it made my face really dry the first few times I used it and as much as I love it I cant use it everyday . The luminous wear has like tiny tiny shimmers that give a really nice glow. You can only see them if you look at your face in the mirror really really close. The Luminous wear is for normal to dry skin and I've had no problems with it making me look oily or anything. I have an oily Tzone and there's products that make me oilyer on that area than I would normally be, but this foundation is awesome. The back of the container says its buildable coverage and suitable for sensitive skin. For now these two are my go to foundations. The luminous wear I do set with my favorite setting powder ever which is the Rimmel Stay Matte Powder. Its a translucent powder which I use to set my foundation and its also a blotting.powder. I recommend it. When I dont want to use foundation I reach for a tinted moisturizer. Right now my favorite one is the Cover Girl Aqua Smoothers in number 815. I either apply it alone or I mix it with my foundation (50/50) then apply the Stay Matte powder and it makes my skin look really nice and natural. I live in TX where is humid and I find these products to work well for me right now. If you have any recomendations let me know because I enjoy trying new products. :)
